I Solomnly Swear
I Solomnly Swear I Will Be The Greatest Dark Lord Of All...
I’ll not willingly offend
Nor be easily offended
What’s amiss I’ll strive to mend
And endure what can’t be mended

Remus Lupin always thought that he would be isolated from people; after all it is an ‘occupational hazard of being a werewolf’. 30 years ago, however, this thought changed when he met young Katie De Vere. 30 years later they have seven children and have been married 28 years, something that none of the other marauders achieved, unfortunately. Remus and Katie have always taught their children what is just and right… Until daughter Sophie decided to disobey it…
Harry Potter was our typical young hero, tragic past, bright future, always overcoming barriers with friends. He lost his mother, father, mentor and the closest thing to a parent he had ever known his godfather. During the final battle between Lord Voldemort and his Death Eaters and Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix he lost his surrogate parents, Arthur and Molly Weasley, and the closest thing he had to a brother, Rubeus Hagrid as well. Through all this pain we must remember that it was the love for these people that lead Harry to destroy Lord Voldemort and take a victory for ‘good’ wizards everywhere. After all, in the words of Albus Dumbledore “it is not our abilities that show who we really are… it is our choices”.
Draco Malfoy, the ‘foul, loathsome, evil little cockroach’ that we all hated during our time at Hogwarts. He was a terror, a replica of his father, but struggling an inner battle that was far more powerful than those which were being fought outside. He had to fight with what he knew to be right and what he had been taught his whole life. During the final battle however he betrayed his family and turned to help Harry, leaving him a disowned Malfoy and having to change his name to protect himself. Dean Mercer is who he became and he vowed to teach his children the ways of the Order, hiding them for many years from his father, that was until Lucius Malfoy found out who he was, where he lived and proceeded to teach his eldest child, Lestat, the ways of the Dark Arts, taking him on as the son which Draco (alias Dean) failed to be.
For many years things were calm but now danger has arrived once more, in the shape of a young Malfoy. Halfway during the war Draco Malfoy changed sides and vowed to teach his children the ways of the Order. He brought his children up away from Lucius Malfoy, Bellatrix Lestrange and the rest of his family that was until Lucius Malfoy found out he had grandchildren. Lucius decided it was his duty to seek out his son and teach his grandchildren the ways of the Dark Arts.
Lestat Malfoy was more than happy to go with his grandfather and learn about pureblood superiority, making him a danger to the rest of the wizarding world and our young James Potter. Now there is a new war breaking out, Lucius Malfoy is determined to make his grandson the greatest Dark Lord there has been, one who cannot be defeated, and he is getting help from sister-in-law, Bellatrix Lestrange, and an old friend, Severus Snape as well as his brothers and their wives.
So now a new resistance is also rising inside the walls of Hogwarts and this time it is a Malfoy who will rise to be the all-feared Dark Lord. So what side are you on? Will you help Lestat secretly rise to power or help the Potters and Lupins defeat him?
