Ron walked into the room, stifling a yawn behind his hand as he sank down on his bed. The day had been long and drama-filled, leaving him without energy, but in a good way. Definately in a good way. Waiting for Hermione to come back with her bags and such, he decided to lie down on his bed, listening for her while closing his eyes.

Hermione walked into the room a few minutes later, carrying her bags while also trying to shut the door. She gave up after a bit and kicked the door shut then walked over to the closet, starting to put her clothes and other items away

Ron opened his eyes fractionally as he heard the door slam, knowing immediately that it was Hermione. "Hey." he called feebly, grinning at her while turning to face her, still laying down.

She looked over at him "Hey again" she said as she finished putting everything away then walked over to her own bed, laying down and yawning tiredly

"Tired?" he asked, yawning again, simply because she had. It was true; yawns were contagious. "You can get some sleep, if you want. I won't wake you or anything."

She smiled as she stood up, grabbing some pajama's from the dresser then walked to the bathroom, changing then came back. "You should get some sleep too" she said as she walked over to her bed, climbing under the sheets

Ron just shrugged, wrapping his arms around his pillow, his gaze only leaving her when she went to change. "I'm alright, myself. I don't think I could sleep if I tried."

She smiled "Alright. Good night then" she said closing her eyes and sighing softly

"Good night." Ron said back, smiling at her. Then, almost as though an after thought, he added under his breath, "I love you." He didn't know whether Hermione heard it, and half hoped she didn't. He closed his eyes immediately after his words, pretending to be trying to sleep as well.

She opened her eyes slightly, sitting up on her elbow and looking over at him "I love you too" she said softly, laying back down and watching him to see if he'd open his eyes

Ron opened his eyes quickly, surprised that she had said it back to him. He had been so sure she wouldn't... But, instead of saying "really?", as he was so tempted to do, he just nodded and smiled at her, then closed his eyes again.

She smiled and rolled over, falling asleep after a few minutes.
She slept for a bit until she started shivering from being freezing even though she had the blankets and sheets wrapped around herself tightly.

Ron hadn't been able to sleep, like he had told Hermione, so he contented himself with just watching her. The slow, rhythmatic breathing, the way her eyes subtly twitched, showing that she was dreaming... just, everything. It was no surprise, then, that he noticed she was shivering. He wondered if he should conjure more blankets, then decided against it. Instead, he slipped out of his bed and crossed the room, laying down next to her and hoping she wouldn't mind too much. Hoping he wouldn't wake her, he wrapped his arms around her, in attempts to warm her.

She smiled in her sleep and turned over, facing him. She snuggled up against him, holding onto him as she continued to sleep, sighing happily in her sleep.

Ron grinned and held onto her, almost as if afraid to let go.Without another movement, he closed his eyes and soon, too, fell asleep.
